Johnston Press ran an awake campaign in 2010 due to the fact they had a very poor opt-in rate across all titles on the database. Emails were sent as service messages asking them if they'd like to hear from Johnston PressĀ in the future and to update their details.

The campaign was a great success for JP and achieved the goal of increasing the opted-in base.
